I know this restaurant does not have high ratings but I feel it isa pretty good eatery. One of my young guests is a meat-and-potatoes type person, so Korean BBQ is really out of her comfort zone. We ordered a non-spicy grilled chicken over grilled onion dish for her and it is a huge hit. She had it over rice and took leftover home. I say it was a success! Hubby and I had seafood and silken tofu in a bowl of soup. Both dishes came piping hot, just the way we like.

The place hired super servers to attend to all customers’ often alone. Good portions on both the main entrée and side dishes. Vegetarian options are available. The cold noodle salad was big enough for four as a side dish and two as a main course. Full and satisfied dinner.

Great Korean food. The galbi is good and not too sweet. I also enjoy the banchan especially the potato salad.

We used to come here all the time for lunch. Just picked up take-out tonight for the first time in years - same ownership, same great hospitality, and the food is as good as ever. We can't wait to come back!

We go out to eat at this restaurant every 3-4 weeks . We take a long drive from San Fernando Valley. We always enjoy the best quality of the meal. We tried Korean food in Encino, Korea Town and we always come back to this restaurant as the best place.

Jue Juezi! The tofu soup is delicious, and the side dishes are also delicious, but the portions are not large.

The quantity and quality of the food is wonderful and it's such a quick turnaround from the time you order to the time you get your food and the servers come around promptly to make sure you're doing well. I'll definitely be coming back!

Been here for a long time, love the atmosphere and the food is awesome, especially if you like spicy foods.(how do they make the kimchi so good!)

We love this location! Ordering two combos for a family of 4 is enough and still get a to go leftovers. They serve on time, everything is taking place at its pace. Not gonna lie, there are days when some of the meet don't taste good but it isn't the way they prepare rather how the meet itself tastes. Now, tell em you never got a bad meet from the same store that you go to?! Have been a loyal customer for 10+ years and will keep coming! Thank you for staying open! Service is good, food is good, it is clean!

I really don't understand the negative reviews for this place. We came in for dinner on Wednesday and had a pleasant experience. The male server is always very nice and friendly. He brought out our drinks and menu right when we were seated. We ordered our usual Kalbi seafood tofu soup combo and also tried their Dduck Bboki. He quickly brought out our side dishes which is always delicious. Daughter and husband loves their fish cake and potato. Their Yelp page shows that they close at 9:30, however I saw he was starting to clean and asked what time they close in which he responded 7:20. I asked if we can get some refills on the side dishes and said if the kitchen was closed already then that's okay. He said he will go back and check and he came back with our refills! I see some reviews saying the service is slow but realistically if there's only one person working with a restaurant full of people, we can't really expect quick and fast service. Never had a bad experience with Ko Hyang and we come here quite often.
